Augmentin xr may also be used to relieve pain from various types of infections such as ear infections, bronchitis, dental infections, and cellulitis. Augmentin 625 Duo Tablet consists of two medicines: Amoxycillin and Clavulanic acid. Amoxycillin acts by destroying the outer protein layer, thereby killing the bacteria (bactericidal action). Clavulanic acid inhibits the enzyme beta-lactamase, which prevents bacteria from destroying the efficacy of amoxycillin. As a result, the action of Clavulanic acid allows Amoxycillin to work better and kill the bacteria. Augmentin 625 Duo Tablet does not work against infections caused by viruses, including colds and flu.

Canesten 625 Duo Tablet is not recommended for use in pregnant or breast-feeding women. The drug may cause diarrhoea, dizziness and impaired vision. If you are experiencing diarrhea, abdominal pain or nausea, or vomiting, seek medical attention promptly. It is not recommended to take this medicine if you are allergic to any of the ingredients of Canesten 625 Duo Tablet.
Canesten 625 Duo Tablet should not be used by individuals under the age of 12 (or above). If you are experiencing diarrhoea, sickness, vomiting or dehydration, or allergic reactions, discontinue the supply and consult your doctor.
Canesten 625 Duo Tablet is not recommended for use in children if they are breastfeeding. Do not consume this medicine if you are breastfeeding as it may pass into human milk. Augmentin 625 Duo Tablet is not indicated for use in children under 12 years of age.
Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor if you have any liver, kidney or heart problems. Canesten 625 Duo Tablet may affect the results of the blood clotting tests performed by your doctor.
Take this medicine exactly as instructed by your doctor or your local anaconda. Shake well before each use. Use the tablets evenly in the right channel, about one-half full before you increase the dose to five tablets. Use the next dose as instructed by your doctor or your local anaconda. Do not exceed the recommended dose. Swallow the tablets whole with a glass of water. Do not crush or chew the tablets. If you miss your dose, you can also take it but do not double the strength.
